Summer Programs

The City and Campus are Renewed as we learn from and love people in under-resourced communities in Chicago, joining the work God is already doing in those communities and then contextualize this to campus.

Students are Transformed through dependence on God’s Word and His Spirit, while learning from multi-cultural communities learning from experiences of injustice and applying new areas where Christ needs to reign.

World Changers are Developed by celebrating diversity as God’s good gift, reconciling broken relationships and structures and making lifestyle choices consistent with the gospel of Shalom.

Summer CUP is for college students who are growing and committed Christians, who are also actively seeking to understand God, God’s Shalom and its’ implications for themselves and the world. Teams of students and staff are placed in neighborhoods in Chicago to learn from and serve alongside local Christians, learning about God’s heart for Shalom and considering their call to places of injustice and need.

The summer program consists of Training, Service, Living in Community, Spiritual Disciplines and Involvement with the Neighborhood and the Local Church.
